Authorities say a 21-year-old man from Davidson, Michigan, sustained critical injuries Friday after the vehicle he was riding in was struck while driving in the wrong lane of Lapeer Road. The man was a passenger in a Chevy Trailblazer traveling north in the southbound lanes of Lapeer Road. The Trailblazer was hit by a Nissan Pathfinder. Authorities arrested the 21-year-old woman driving the Trailblazer for operating while intoxicated. Charges are pending following the investigation. The front seat passenger of the Trailblazer and the driver of the Pathfinder sustained minor injuries.
