Police said 31-year-old Megan Thompson from Snover was eastbound on Peck, along with her 6-year-old son as the only passenger, when the vehicle entered the westbound lane and continued into a ditch. The vehicle collided with a tree before coming to a rest.

The Sanilac County Sheriff’s Department reports that 31-year-old Megan Thompson, from Snover, was driving east on Peck Road with her 6-year-old son in the vehicle when she crossed the center line, went into the ditch and hit a tree.
