Township police have identified Macie Lynn Allinger as the Burton woman that was killed Saturday, Dec. 13 after being hit by multiple vehicles on Saginaw Street, near Maple Avenue and Dort Highway. Allinger walking in the road around 10:40 p.m. when she was first hit by a vehicle driven by a teen Grand Blanc resident. Allinger was then hit by several other vehicles. She was pronounced deceased at the site. Police said no charges have been filed in the case as of Tuesday, Dec. 16. Visibility was an potential factor in the crash because of poor street lighting, and also that the victim wearing dark clothing. Alcohol is believed to be a factor in the collision, according to law enforcement officials.
