Dr. Riyaz Nomani killed and Denise R. Woodring, 53, charged after car crash on Illinois 17 near Dwight, Michigan

Denise R. Woodring, 53, is scheduled to appear Friday afternoon for a bond hearing in Livingston County Circuit Court on charges, including  reckless homicide, related to the death of Dr. Riyaz Nomani, a Naperville cardiologist who joined the OSF HeartCare Midwest team in Streator this past January "but was well established in the community, serving patients for many years prior," OSF said in a statement Friday afternoon.
