The driver of the van, 79-year-old Jerry Greer from Cass City was killed. His wife was hurt, but is expected to survive.

Greer was killed in the crash, while wife suffered non life-threatening injuries and was taken to Hills and Dales Hospital in Cass City. Dickson was also injured and treated at Hills and Dales Hospital.
