80-year-old woman killed in Gratiot County accident

(01/19/16) - An 80-year-old woman from Otisville has been killed in an accident in Gratiot County. The sheriff's office tells us Jo Ann Hetzer was in the back seat of a car heading west on M-57 on Monday, in North Shade Township, when a 21-year-old Ithaca woman ran a stop sign. Hetzer was thrown from the backseat as the car rolled over. Four other people were taken to a nearby hospital, but are all expected to be OK.
