Vehicle rolls multiple times, driver pronounced dead at scene
Michigan State Police said 25-year-old Kala Partello, from Douglasville, Georgia, was the only person in the vehicle at the time.
A single-vehicle accident in northern Bay County has killed a Georgia woman. The collision happened about 6:55 a.m. on Saturday, July 11, on Interstate 75 in Pinconning Township. Kala Marie Partello, 25, was traveling north on I-75 when she lost control of her vehicle which rolled multiple times in the median, ejecting Partello who was pronounced deceased at the crash site. Neither alcohol nor drugs appear to be a factor in the accident, but law enforcement suspects that Partello fell asleep at the wheel.
