Carl Tackett, 23, and Olaf Samuel Boes, 26, killed in car crash into tree off of Oak Grove Road in Newton Township, Michigan

Carl Tackett, 23, of Burlington, and his passenger, Olaf Samuel Boes, 26, of Marshall, were headed back to an Oak Grove residence when Tackett lost control, left the road and hit a tree. A newspaper delivery driver spotted the wreck, with both men trapped in the truck. Both were unresponsive and were pronounced dead at the scene from their extensive injuries.
