Two injured, taken to hospital, after pickup leaves road and crashes into tree.

Two people were injured after a head-on collision in Alto Sunday morning. The crash happened at around 12:30 a.m. on 100th Street SE, near Whitneyville Avenue. Police said the driver lost control of his pick-up truck, ran off the road and struck a tree. The driver and his passenger were transported to a hospital for treatment. No other vehicles were involved in the crash.
