14-year-old girl seriously injured, airlifted to hospital, after she is struck by a vehicle, while riding her bicycle, on 100th Street and Alaska Court in Caledonia.

A 14-year-old bicyclist was airlifted to a Grand Rapids hospital after being hit by a vehicle Tuesday evening. The crash happened around 6:30 p.m. on 100th Street at Alaska Court near Caledonia. A 14-year-old and her sister were riding home on their bicycles when the 14-year-old was struck by a vehicle, Kent County sheriff’s deputies on the scene said. She was airlifted to Spectrum Health Butterworth Hospital in serious condition, authorities said.
