Car rolls into lake; authorities suspect alcohol involved
According to the Kent County Sheriff’s Department, the 25-year-old driver tried to pass another car in a no-passing zone and lost control. His car rolled into Dean Lake.
The driver was trapped inside and soon rescued by emergency responders. He sustained a broken arm, but not any life-threatening injuries.
The sheriff’s office said speed and alcohol are believed to have been factors in the crash, which remains under investigation.
