Police in Michigan are investigating an early morning crash that killed a pedestrian on a highway just north of Three Rivers.

The crash is under investigation. Anyone with information is being asked to call the Michigan State Police at 517-278-2373.
It was about 12:30 a.m. when a northbound semi-truck on U.S. 131 collided with a woman standing in the intersection with Heimbach Road. She was declared deceased at the scene of the crash. Police are still investigating the identity of the woman and why she was standing in the roadway; check back for updates.
