Police are also requesting a charge of leaving the scene of an accident causing serious injury against the suspect, who has been lodged at the Jackson County Jail.
A 38-year-old woman faces charges after she struck a 23-year-old woman with a pickup after a dispute in the parking lot of a gas station. Jill Bradley is charged with larceny from a person, assault with a dangerous weapon and operating while intoxicated, third offense. The collision occurred April 8 after Bradley took the victim's purse and tried to run from the scene. The victim hung onto to the side of Bradley's pickup attempting to retrieve her property and the victim fell and was hit by the rear tire. She sustained serious injuries. Bradley's vehicle was stopped by a Michigan State Police trooper shortly after the incident. Police found the victim's purse in Bradley's truck.
