Multiple people injured in head-on accident - Upper Peninsula ABC 10

SANDS TOWNSHIP — Multiple people were injured Thursday morning in a head-on accident in Sands Township. The Marquette County Sheriff’s Office was assisted at the scene by the Sands Township Fire Department, Sands Township EMS and the Michigan State Police. A blue Buick LeSabre and a black Dodge Ram collided head-on. A police officer told ABC 10 that multiple people were taken to the hospital with unknown injuries. The accident occurred at approximately 9:15 a.m. on North M-553 near Oakridge Drive.
