Michigan crashes kill snowmobilers from Wisconsin, Illinois

On Tuesday, the sheriff's department said 45-year-old Donald Stagner of New Lenox, Illinois, died following a crash when he failed to negotiate a corner on Trail 7.
A snowmobile driver was killed when his vehicle exited a trail and collided with a tree just after 9 p.m. Tuesday. Donald Stagner, 45, of New Lenox, Illinois, was driving on Trail #7 in Au Train Township when the accident happened as he was rounding a corner. He lost control and the snowmobile hit a tree. Stagner was pronounced deceased at the crash site.
