The Lake County Sheriff's Department says Roy Putnam, of Ludington, was traveling west-bound on US-10, when he lost control and slid into another car.
Putnam was pronounced dead at the scene.
In the other car, Dale and Brent Bush, of Muskegon County, were taken to a local hospital with severe injuries.
