87-year-old driver killed when car collides with semi in NW. Minn.
The patrol said Arvin Dahl, of Middle River, Minn., had stopped at a stop sign at the intersection of Hwy. 59 and NE. 190th Street in North Township around 8:20 a.m. He then failed to yield the right of way to a semitrailer truck heading north on Hwy. 59 and struck the truck as he entered the intersection. The impact pushed Dahl’s vehicle into the east ditch of Hwy. 59, the patrol said.
