Man Killed in Mankato Hit and Run Identified
Upon arrival, police located a deceased 88–year–old man in the traffic lane near the sidewalk. Police have identified the man as William Maher of Mankato.

Maher was a former commissioner on the Blue Earth County Board, serving from 1977 to 1988.

Abby Marie Zoellmer, 36, turned herself in Thursday night, according to a Mankato Department of Public Safety news release.
