Eastbound I-94 reopens in Mpls. after fatal crash involving pedestrian
The fatal incident was reported at 10:45 a.m. just north of the Lowry Hill Tunnel, according to Minnesota State Patrol spokesperson Lt. Tiffani Nielson.
The interstate was closed soon after and traffic was diverted onto westbound Interstate 394 and the Hennepin and Lyndale avenues exits. All lanes of the interstate were reopened by 12:30 p.m.

Then came two single-person fatal crashes: a morning rush-hour rollover on the Mendota Bridge that snarled traffic for a couple of hours and killed driver Angelica Serrata, 24, of St. Paul, followed by a semitrailer truck hitting a 55-year-old Minneapolis man on foot, causing a 90-minute shutdown of Interstate 94 near downtown Minneapolis.
