Steven Francis Crowley, 50, one other person, killed, after head-on, two vehicle collision on Highway 12 near Orano.

A 50-year-old man was one of two people who were killed in a head-on crash near Orono on Friday morning.

Steven Francis Crowley of Delano died as a result of multiple blunt force injuries he sustained during the crash, according to the Hennepin County Medical Examiner.

Orono officers were called at 7:01 a.m. on a report of a collision on Highway 12 just west of County Road 6. When they arrived, they found two vehicles with severe damage.

Police say a man, later identified as Nnamdi Okolue, 25, driving one of the vehicles was dead on the scene and the man who was driving the other vehicle had critical injuries and later died on the scene.

The crash is under investigation, and no other information has been released.
