Investigators recovered the apparent remnants of a broken headlight from a vehicle that fled the scene. The motorist has yet to be located.

This was my best friend that was killed that night. We had lost touch over the years and I had always thought and hopes one day we would reconnect. Now I know the answer to that is no we won't because her life was taken. She was a genuinely good person and never should have been hit and have someone take off from doing so. She was loved by everyone that knew her and will forever be missed. I'm truly devastated with knowing there are so many things I wish I could have said to her and now I never will. Until we meet again my friend I will forever hold all the great memories I have with you I love you girl and am praying that whomever did this can't sleep at night and will be caught and punished soon!
