Former theater director Dennis Swanson, 70, killed in head-on crash with tractor trailer on Highway 50 near Hampton, Minnesota

Dennis Swanson, 70, of Eagan, was driving his 2007 Toyota Camry north on Highway 50 when he suddenly -- and as the State Patrol states "for an unknown reason" -- veered into the southbound lane, striking a 2016 International Tractor head-on. 

Swanson was pronounced dead at the scene. 

The driver of the truck, 44-year-old Joseph Icenogel, of Colchester, IL, did not suffer any injuries.
