One dead as two semis collide at western Minn. intersection
According to the patrol, the driver of a 2014 Peterbuilt tractor-trailer headed west on Hwy. 27 stopped at a semaphore at the intersection with Hwy. 59, about 25 miles north of Morris. The driver then proceeded to cross Hwy 59. As the truck pulled out, another semitrailer truck heading south on Hwy. 59 approached. The driver of the second truck attempted to brake, but struck the crossing semi in the right rear end, the patrol said.
