Wed, 04/08/2015Taylor Loffler was driving his truck on County Road 86 when his vehicle crossed the centerline and struck a trailer, then collided with a van head-on. Loffler died of his injuries. He was not wearing a seat belt at the time of the accident.

Thu, 04/02/2015Amber Franks of Alexandria was riding an ATV along a trail in White Township on Thursday afternoon when she was struck by a large falling tree. Franks was seriously injured and brought to the hospital in unknown condition. The tree was apparently blown down by high winds.

Mon, 03/30/2015Clarence H. Pistorius was riding a four-wheeler in eastern South Dakota at about 8 p.m. on a rural street when his tires lost traction on the shoulder of the road and rolled. The 700-pound machine pinned him underneath, and he was pronounced dead at the scene.

Fri, 03/27/2015Michael Vieau, 31, is suffering serious injuries after a car collision on Highway 7 on Friday evening. Gerald Koepke, 82, pulled onto the highway with the intention to turn north when he crashed into Vieau. Vieau has been taken to the hospital.
