Amanda Leigh Ramshur, 26, killed in single-vehicle SUV crash into Black Creek off of Highway 57 near Benndale, Mississippi

A Biloxi woman died Sunday morning in George County when her SUV ran off the road and into Black Creek. Investigators said Amanda Leigh Ramshur, 26, was driving north on Highway 57, just south of Benndale when the crash happened. Her 2006 Toyota 4-Runner ran off the road, hit an embankment, and then went into the creek. No other vehicles were involved, and Ramshur was pronounced dead at the scene. The exact cause of accident is still under investigation.
