Harrison County Coroner Brian Switzer said 29-year-old James Ferrara, originally from Arizona, was walking westbound on the tracks when the train came up behind him. Switzer said Ferrara was wearing earbuds and didn’t hear the train or a motorist who tried to flag him down to warn him of the train.
