One dead in Monroe County accident
A one-vehicle accident claimed one life Sunday morning on Highway 45 Alternate one mile north of the Monroe/Clay County line, according to Monroe County Coroner Alan Gurley
Gurley said the accident occurred at 7:18 a.m. The passenger was killed, and the driver of the vehicle was airlifted to North Mississippi Medical Center.
