Searchers finally located a La Crosse man's body in the Mississippi River on Sunday — the last of four victims who died Jan. 5 after their SUV fell through river ice in downtown Winona, Minn., the Winona Daily News reported.

The sheriff's office received a call just before 7:30 a.m. Sunday of tracks and the possibility that a car had gone into the river. Responders found a broken guard rail on Riverview Drive, as well as a license plate, purse and other debris on shore.

The Winona County Sheriff says an underwater camera spotted the car, and authorities pulled it out of the water around noon. Two bodies were found inside, one male and one female.

The woman was identified as 36-year-old Christina Lee Hauser, of Winona. The name of the 30-year-old man was not immediately released.
