According to the Mississippi Highway Patrol, the incident happened on Tuesday around 9:04 p.m. near Seven Spring Road. MHP says a Chevrolet Silverado driven by 18-year-old Gracen Lancaster of Utica was traveling east on MS-18 when he collided with a pedestrian, 69-year-old Cornell Croft, from Jackson.

Officials with the Mississippi Highway Patrol (MHP) said a 2014 Chevrolet Silverado was traveling east when it collided with a pedestrian. The pedestrian was identified as 69-year-old Cornell Croft, of Jackson.
