Edward Pinter, 56, and Melvin Franklin, 60, died in a single-vehicle collision with road departure on Highway 25 in Leake County, Mississippi

A 2016 Chevrolet Corvette driven by 56-year-old Edward Pinter of Brandon, Mississippi, traveled south on Highway 25 when it ran off the road and collided with a tree. Edward Pinter and 60-year-old passenger Melvin Franklin of Brandon, Mississippi, both received fatal injuries from the crash and were pronounced dead on the scene.
