Charles Dilley III, 37, killed, after his car, traveling at a high rate of speed, fails to stop at a stop sign at the intersection of N. Brighton Ave. and 72nd. St. and crashes into a wooded area.

Police have identified a man killed in a single vehicle accident on Thursday as Charles Dilley III, 37.

Police said Dilley was traveling east on NE 72nd at a high rate of speed when he failed to stop at a stop sign. Dilley’s vehicle went airborne and landed in a wooded area just east of the intersection of N. Brighton Ave. and NE 72nd Street.

Dilley was wearing a seatbelt, however, emergency responders pronounced him dead at the scene.
