Two kids and an 18-year-old were injured in an attempted hit-and-run crash late Tuesday in Kansas City. Officers responded around 9:35 p.m. to a home in the 5600 block of Olive Street, where two children and the 18-year-old man were injured when a Toyota Camry hit their Mongoose BMX bike, said Officer Alayna Gonzalez, a spokeswoman for the Kansas City Police Department.
Neighbors catch driver after hit-and-run crash injures three
Police say a Toyota Camry was driving north on Olive Street when it hit a Mongoose BMX bicycle. Officers say a six-year-old was riding the front wheel foot bars, a nine-year-old was riding the rear wheel foot bars and an 18-year-old was on the seat of the bike at the time of the crash.
