Hannibal man dies after one-vehicle crash

A Hannibal man died early Friday morning following a one vehicle crash, according to Missouri State Highway Patrol. 

Just before midnight, Gary Thomson, 54, was driving on U.S. 36 about two miles west of Hannibal when he ran off the road and was thrown from his pickup truck as it rolled over. Thomson was airlifted to University Hospital in Columbia, Missouri, and was pronounced dead early Friday morning.

i never knew hoo he was.but i bet he was a good man.and he was my best friends cusins grandpa.

thank you to all who have grieved with us. i did not have very long with him. he treated me just like i was his own granddaughter instead of just a step granddaughter.
