Multiple tractor-trailer crashes close I-44 in Phelps County

Sergeant Cody Fulkerson says the crash involved four tractor-trailers. He says an west-bound semi was rear-ended by another, sending it through the median into the east-bound lanes, where it hit another semi head-on. Five people were hurt, three critically, and two had to be airlifted to the hospital.
