Kenneth Manes, 41, injured in a two-vehicle head-on collision on County Road 6300 in Howell County, Missouri

The highway patrol states Manes was a passenger in a vehicle driven by 34-year-old John Smith of West Plains on County Road 6300. They were nearly two miles west of West Plains when Smith’s vehicle crested on a hill and struck nearly head-on a minivan driven in the opposite direction by 64-year-old Mary Marcak of West Plains.
