According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, 30-year-old Steven Denney was traveling westbound on Missouri Highway 76 three miles southwest of Ava, when his vehicle traveled off the right side of the roadway, impacted the ground and rolled over a fence before coming to a stop in a field.
