Patriot Guard Rider killed in crash during funeral procession
At around 1:30 p.m., police arrived on the scene of a three-vehicle crash at the intersection of Telegraph Road and Barracksview Road in St. Louis County, a media release said. According to the release, a man on a motorcycle at the end of a funeral procession headed to Jefferson Barracks was hit by a minivan driving east on Barracksview, headed into the parking lot of a Walmart.

He was identified by police Monday night as Mark Schroeder, 64,of south St. Louis County. He died at a hospital, police said. The accident occurred about 1:30 p.m. on northbound Telegraph Road at Barracksview Road, just north of Interstate 255.
