Teen driver killed after hitting three parked cars in Owensville
A teen driver was killed after hitting multiple vehicles in Owensville early Wednesday morning.
The victim has been identified as Nicholas D. Holzschuh, 18, of Owensville.
The incident occurred around 3:25 a.m. on Fourth Street north of Franklin Street.
Police say Holzschuh's car was traveling northbound at a high speed when he crossed the center line and struck two parked vehicles.
The vehicle then crossed the center line again and struck another parked car. Holzschuh was then ejected from the vehicle.
He was taken to a hospital where he was pronounced dead. An 18-year-old passenger sustained minor injuries and was treated at the scene.
No other injuries were reported.
According to a crash report, Holzschuh was not wearing a seat belt at the time of the accident.
