Drivers heading towards downtown St. Louis hit a wall of traffic after a two-vehicle wreck involving a Fed-Ex truck in St. Charles County Friday morning.
The accident happened on Interstate 70 near Zumbehl Rd. around 5 a.m.
Two right lanes were closed, and traffic at one point was backed up to at least Mid Rivers Mall Dr. The interstate re-opened about 7:45 a.m.
At least one person was injured, though details were not immediately available.
