Teen dies after crashing into school bus on Highway 47
Police say 17-year-old Gary French was driving eastbound on Highway 47 west of Linns Mill Rd. when he collided with a school bus heading the other way.
One person is dead after two vehicles collided on Highway 47, west of Linns Mill Road early Sunday morning. Police say the driver of one of the vehicles has been identified as 17-year-old Gary French who was driving eastbound on Highway 47 when he collided with a school bus driving west. French was declared dead at the scene. The driver of the school bus, 27-year-old John Detjen, suffered minor injuries.
