NSP said its preliminary investigation shows that a semi was westbound on Highway 6 around 4:15 p.m. Wednesday when it failed to slow down for stopped traffic that was waiting for a vehicle to turn at Road A.

Justin Zoerb, 22, has now been charged with two counts of motor vehicle homicide and one count of reckless driving following the Aug. 9, 2023, crash in Clay County, the Clay County Sheriff’s Department said in a Dec. 9 news release.
