Brent Boyd, 46, killed, after his pickup leaves the W. Sprague Road, near Crete, and overturns, ejecting him from the vehicle.

The Lancaster County Sheriff's Office says a Crete man killed following a rollover accident west of town. It happened just before 6 a.m. Thursday. Sheriff's deputies were called when a passerby saw a pickup truck in a field near SW 100 and W. Sprague Road.

The sheriff says 46-year-old Brent Boyd was pronounced dead at the scene. Investigators say Boyd's pickup rolled, went over a fence and landed in a field. Boyd had been thrown from the vehicle.
