Investigators say that shortly before 4 p.m., Ms. Hauschild was northbound on Highway 50 near the Manley spur when she lost control of her Honda Element. The vehicle spun 180 degrees and collided with a car driven by 64-year-old Thomas Groleau of Manley.
Deadly Crash Investigation Changes Direction
Hauschile was pronounced deceased at the scene. Groleau was extricated from his vehicle and transported to University Nebraska Medical Center via Life Flight. Groleau died on October 19, 2014.
Hauschild was declared dead at the scene, but Groleau had to be flown to Nebraska Medical Center for treatment. He died on October 19.
