Motorcyclist, 22, dies after Jones Boulevard crash

A motorcyclist critically injured Wednesday evening in a crash on North Jones Boulevard has died, the Clark County coroner's office said. Ulises Torres Jr., 22, of Las Vegas was riding north on Jones about 7:30 p.m. when he collided with a minivan exiting from U.S. Highway 95 northbound, the Nevada Highway Patrol said. A passenger in the minivan was sent to Mountain View Hospital with injuries that were not life-threatening, NHP said. Find him on Twitter: @WesJuhl Torres died at University Medical Center.
