2 motorcyclists seriously injured in Friday night crash

A man and a teenager were seriously injured Friday night when their motorcycle crashed with a sport utility vehicle, Las Vegas police said. Kehrt suffered serious injuries and Arlitz suffered life-threatening injuries, the release said. The Kawasaki then struck the front of the Ford, Metro said in a news release. The motorcycle operator, 26-year-old Mario Kehrt of Las Vegas, and his passenger, 19-year-old Kelsy Arlitz of Las Vegas, were ejected from the vehicle. According to Metro, about 7:15 p.m., a 2004 Kawasaki motorcycle was heading east on West Vegas Drive.
