Witnesses to a crash on Interstate 95 pulled a woman from a burning pickup truck Monday afternoon, state police said.

Amy Strong, 20, of Hampton was driving on I-95 when her 2008 Ford Ranger left the road, struck construction equipment and caught fire around 12:25 p.m., police said.
Witnesses smashed out the rear window of the truck and pulled Strong from the fiery wreck, police said.
Strong was taken to Portsmouth Regional Hospital with serious injuries.
Police are investigating the crash.
