Former Greenfield Planning Board member Mary Newton, 54, killed in New Hampshire car crash

The Associated Press and other media outlets reported that Newton's son had died in the crash, but a New Hampshire State Police spokesman in Keene said law enforcement officials did not publicly identify the gender of the teenage victim.

State Police say 54-year-old Mary Newton of Greenfield, Massachusetts, was driving west on Route 9 in Stoddard on Saturday afternoon when her car crossed into the eastbound lane and crashed head-on with a recreational vehicle.
A Massachusetts woman and her daughter and a Florida woman were killed in a crash in western New Hampshire. State Police say 54-year-old Mary Newton of Greenfield, Massachusetts, was driving west on Route 9 in Stoddard on Saturday afternoon when her car crossed into the eastbound lane and crashed head-on with a recreational vehicle. Newton and her 16-year-old daughter were killed, as was a passenger in the RV, 68-year-old Dulce Marie Campo Perez of West Melbourne, Florida. The driver of the RV was seriously injured. The crash remains under investigation.

It was Mary Newton's daughter who died in the accident, not a son. And, it is possible that Ms. Newton entered the left lane to avoid that RV that had first entered HER lane. The RV driver was 83 (statistically just as dangerous as a 16 year old).

My prayers go to your family but let me tell you that the woman in the rv who died was my aunt and the driver was her husband it is my auncle and yes maybe he is 83 but he can drive perfectly and his health was better than any teeanager so it was not his fault ok? It was a car accident and it is nobodys fault and the rv didnt enter to her lane it was the other way!!

You canc chek so,e videos in internet the rv went down the hill to avoid the car if the car was trying to avoid the rv then the rv should have crashed against the car not the other way
