A head-on collision sent two drivers to a hospital and shut down a lane of Route 206 in Chester Township for two hours early Monday morning, police said.
A head-on collision sent two drivers to a hospital and shut down a lane of Route 206 in Chester Township for two hours early Monday morning, police said. Police responded to Route 206 between Old Chester Road and Fox Chase Road for a reported head-on collision, police said. Jared Hill, 25, of Newton was driving a north in a 2008 Honda Accord when it crossed the center line and struck 46-year-old Kenneth Vorce's Chevrolet Suburban on the shoulder of the southbound side of the road, police said. Both drivers were taken to Morristown Medical Center by the Chester First Aid Squad, police said. The Morris County Sheriff’s C.I.S. Team and the Chester Volunteer Fire Department also assisted at the scene The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
