Police in Franklin Township are investigating a three-car crash Thursday morning that left one person dead and three others injured, the Hunterdon County Prosecutor’s Office announced. The crash occurred at approximately 7:30 a.m. at the intersection of Hogback Road, Route 617 and Lower Lansdown Road, according to authorities.

According to a GoFundMe page, Sophia and her brother George were on their way to their first day of high school when they were struck by another vehicle at the intersection.
