JCMC asking family, friends of unidentified hit-and-run victim to come forward (PHOTOS)

The man, who is approximately 60 years old, was struck near Barrow Street and Columbus Drive at around 3:45 a.m. Jan. 10 and taken to JCMC, where he remains unresponsive, unconscious and in critical condition, hospital spokesman Mark Rabson said today. Rabson said the hospital is hoping that family members will have medical information about the man that will help the staff provide better treatment. Derek Walker, 29, of Maryland, has been charged with leaving the scene of an accident and could face additional charges, depending on the fate of the victim. If you have information that may be helpful in the man's medical treatment, call Colleen Reilly at 551-226-0393.

JCMC seeks help in identifying patient, finding his family

The patient is a man, approximately 62 years old, whose name may be Thomas Sheridan. Any information would be helpful in his medical treatment, JCMC spokesman Mark Rabson said.
